Used in the Body and Line container 9160500. Propels a line 250m in calm conditions.

SOLAS typically requires that 4 Linethrowing appliances are carried by ships. 
Application:

Used to pass a line from ship to ship, ship to shore or by rescue services.

Can be used to pass a line to a swimmer in difficulties or across rivers or ravines.

Stowed in lockers on Ships Bridge orstrategically positioned around vessel.

Never fire rocket without a drag line attached.
